“TL/DR I highly recommend Superior Fence and Rail of Savannah. Everyone at the company is very kind, respectful and professional. Don't waste your money anywhere else. SF&R of Savannah was recommended to me by a neighbor who had a nice fence installed last year and it still looks great. I had recommendations from others, but when I called those companies (three different companies) either they did not call me back or they were too busy to take on new work. When I called SF&R, Luke came to the house that week to give me an estimate. The price was reasonable and just looking at the fence, he saw all my concerns without me having to explain anything, but of course he asked questions to confirm what he was seeing was what I needed. I was very impressed with his sincerity and professionalism. I was torn between the wooden fence or the vinyl fence (which was a little pricier and the one Luke recommended). But to my surprise, Luke only recommended it. He was not pushy or obnoxious about it. I went with the wood fence for nostalgia reasons. After Luke's visit, the office called gave me an install date that was about a month and a half away. Which in the fencing business and with lumber being premium right now, I thought the date was reasonable. No one bugged me about the down payment. No one reminded me that it was due before install. The down payment was paid a few days after Luke's visit, but a company in the construction world was not asking for money every week, whether I paid half or not, made me feel very comfortable with SF&R. On the day of installation, the crew showed up around 9am. We completed the walk through, and they were right on the money with everything Luke and I had discussed. Once we were done, the guys went right to work, and I felt comfortable going to work too. Hours before I expected, I received a call that the install crew was done and since I had to go to work, if I found any problems when I got home, I could call the office and the crew would be back out in the morning to fix whatever issues I found. Of course, when I got home there were no issues and the fence looked perfect. For the first time in 10 years of living in my home the gate actually swung open and closed! The slope at the top of the fence looked great (my property has a very uneven landscape) and the bottom of the fence was kept two inches off the ground due to all the runoff and standing water when it rains. So how they kept the slope and gap at the bottom is amazing to me. Not to mention the removal of the old poles and cement and installing new cement and new poles. It all really looks great. I'm not getting paid or reimbursed for this review, I just believe in giving credit where credit is due and my fence looks great! I would not only recommend Superior Fence & Rail of Savannah to family, friends, neighbors and strangers but I would rehire them 100 times over. From the front office staff to the whole install crew, everyone was professional and friendly. They provided quality work at a reasonable price. SF&R of Savannah is the real deal.”
