A wood fence adds warmth and character to a DeFuniak Springs property. Every one we build is made to order from cedar or pressure-treated lumber and prepared for the area's hot, humid summers and frequent afternoon storms. We offer privacy, picket, shadowbox, and split rail styles.

Aluminum fencing brings an upscale look to DeFuniak Springs homes with almost no maintenance. It won't rust, and its powder-coated finish stands up to heat, humidity, and summer downpours. We install it in a broad mix of heights, styles, and colors.

A privacy fence gives your DeFuniak Springs backyard a quiet, screened-off space. We install the boards close together with no gaps, so passersby can't see in, and the solid panels help soften outside noise. Several heights and materials are available.

Semi-privacy fencing gives DeFuniak Springs yards some screening without feeling closed in. Small gaps between boards allow light and air to move through, and the fence still clearly defines your property. We carry it in a variety of styles and materials.

Picket fences suit the charm of many DeFuniak Springs homes, framing front yards, gardens, and walkways with a neat, welcoming border. The spaced pickets keep the view open, and we offer a wide range of heights and materials.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes we are. We have been a member since we began business and use special arbitration procedures laid out by the BBB to resolve disputes. More importantly, we have no complaints on our record, not a small feat considering we sell and install thousands of jobs each year.
When installing fence posts, a common question arises: is concrete necessary? The answer is that there are three primary methods for setting posts, and the need for concrete depends on various factors. Posts can be set using dry concrete, which cures over time with moisture from the soil or with wet concrete, which cures faster with water. Alternatively, posts can be driven directly into compacted soil. The choice of technique frequently varies by region, influenced by local building codes, municipal requirements, and the specific composition of the soil. Each technique results in a fence that is structurally sound and backed by the Superior Fence & Rail workmanship warranty – the best in the industry!
Absolutely. We have a 2,000,000.00 general liability policy, a 1,000,000.00 commercial automobile policy and a 1,000,000.00 worker’s compensation policy. If the company you are considering hiring does not carry workers compensation, liability or commercial automobile insurance, you may want to rethink your decision to use them because you could end up being liable in the event that something happens on your property.
Yes we do. Our materials come with lengthy product warranties from the manufacturer and our company offers a three year workmanship warranty on our installation for most of our products. Our aluminum fencing and our vinyl fence comes with a transferable lifetime warranty. This means that not only is the warranty good for the original purchaser, but it can also be transferred to the subsequent purchaser of your home. To transfer the vinyl fence warranty, a registration card must be filled out by the transferee. Also, it is important to note that our vinyl fence is one of the few in the entire industry that carries a warranty that is not just backed by the parent company but is actually underwritten by a firm that guarantees the performance of the warranty (similar to the way a re-insurance companies guarantees the performance of other insurance companies).
Our company is a vinyl fence fabricator that has the ability to fabricate over 120 different styles of vinyl fences, gazebos and associated garden products. The most common styles of vinyl fence we sell are tongue and groove privacy, privacy with lattice accent, semi-privacy, picket and pool code fence. Call our office today and let us help you pick the vinyl fence that’s right for you!

MEET THE DESTIN, FL TEAM
Dustin Taylor, Owner
Dustin has more than 20 years of experience in construction, including over 14 years in fencing, and he brings all of it to his leadership of Superior Fence & Rail of Pensacola. Over his career he has worked in installation, field management, manufacturing, operations, customer service, and executive leadership.
Before joining Superior Fence & Rail, Dustin started and ran his own custom fence and gate automation company, so he knows what it takes to build a business from scratch. After moving from Jacksonville to Pensacola, he took on larger operations and leadership roles and eventually became an Operations Consultant for territories across the mainland U.S., helping teams improve their processes and efficiency.
Today, Dustin leads a growing operation serving customers from Covington, Louisiana, to Port St. Joe, Florida. His role has grown a lot over the years, but he hasn’t lost touch with the hands-on, hardworking roots where his career started.
Outside of work, Dustin is a husband and father of four. He loves the outdoors, whether he’s hunting, fishing, boating, or diving, and he also enjoys working out and making memories with his family.
He takes his work seriously, but he doesn’t take himself too seriously. His kids describe him as “a man of medium length words, who is a very zany person and a pretty wag type of guy.” In their opinion, that’s part of what makes him “the greatest dad around.”
Dustin’s faith in Jesus Christ, his commitment to family, and his belief in doing things the right way guide how he leads at home and at work. To him, a successful company is one his family, employees, and community can be proud of.

Irrigation Considerations
October 24, 2017
Sprinkler system consists of a series of PVC tubes that run underground. PVC is a good material because it’s lightweight and easy to install, but it’s also difficult to locate and prone to damage. This happens frequently during fence installation because sprinkler lines usually run along the same property line where you want your fence installed. Unless your fence is installed before your sprinklers – accidental breaks in the pvc lines are unavoidable. The best thing you can do is be prepared, and have an irrigation repair company on hand.
