This fencing project in Manchester, CT, serves as the perfect example of a fence that serves dual uses. The first purpose was to keep neighboring furry friends out of sight and out of mind in terms of privacy. However, unlike your typical privacy fence, this one was a bit unique as it was more than just a privacy fence as it was also an upgrade from the homeowner’s existing dog fencing. And it came with a special set of circumstances.

This fencing application had to not only keep their beloved family dog safely in their fenced yard, but it also needed to prevent the neighbor’s dog from seeing their dog. If these canines made eye contact, it would cause a ruckus! Additionally, the clients also wanted an attractive fence line that would enhance the function of their yard for outdoor entertaining.

When It Comes To Fencing Your Wish Is Our Command

During the design consultation, the homeowner mentioned she really liked the look of our Aberdeen vinyl fencing. The client mentioned she had seen it during a recent home show she attended, and we had it on display within the Superior Fence & Rail of Hartford booth.

The only obstacle of concern was the property’s hill, and whether we could install this fencing on the slope. Superior of course, is accustomed to working with the slope of the land, and we assured her that it would come out great.

Fence Installation = Property Transformation

The project began with removal of the existing galvanized chain link fence. Once the old fence was removed, we installed 306-linear feet of our 6-foot Aberdeen vinyl fencing. We also installed three matching gates for ease of access. These included a 10’ double door gate, a 5’ wide, and a 4’ wide gate.

During the installation, of note, the slope of the property was indeed, very steep, but our talented installation team was able to route the posts out a little more to ensure the rails matched down the slope.

Our customer, and both dog neighbors are now howling with delight over the finished fence!
